  서영주SUH Yongchu

  서영주는 애니메이션 테크닉을 기반으로 실험적 작업을 하고 있다. 서울국제뉴미디어페스티벌, Nancy International Film Festival, South Film and Arts Academy Festival, 서울국제만화애니메이션페스티벌 등에서 수상하였고, 플랫폼엘 컨템포러리 아트센터와 한국영상자료원에서 개인전과 단독상영회를 개최하였으며, Hammer Museum, 서울시립미술관, 포항시립미술관, 히로시마국제애니메이션페스티벌, 판토체국제애니메이션페스티벌, 멜버른국제애니메이션페스티벌 등 다수의 국제 전시와 영화제에 참여하였다. 현재 건국대학교 영상영화학과에 재직 중이다.

  She is working on experimental moving image based on the technique of Animation. Awarded at Seoul International New Media Festival, Nancy International Film Festival, South Film and Arts Academy Festival, Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival, and held solo exhibition/screening at Platform-L Contemporary Art Center and Korean Film Archive. Internationally invited in nenerous festivals and art shows, such as Hammer Museum, Seoul Museum of Art, Hiroshima International Animation Festival, Fantoche International Animation Film Festival, etc. Currently Assistant Professor, Dept. of Film and Animation in Konkuk University.
