일을 마치고 마을로 돌아온 청년은 집 앞에서 울고 있는 16살짜리 여동생을 발견한다. 동생은 두 명의 루마니아 남자들로부터 강간을 당했다고 말하고, 청년은 그 즉시 가해자들을 찾아 나서지만 실패한다. 그 사실이 알려지고 마을에는 긴장감이 감돌기 시작하는데…

December 2011, in a town in northern Italy, a young man returns home as he does every evening. He parks his car and discovers his 16-year-old sister in tears in front of their house. She tells him that two young Romani guys have brutally raped her. The young man immediately goes in search of the attackers but cannot find them. The neighbourhood organizes a solidarity march in view of the event. The tension begins to rise…

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

이 영화는 두 명의 루마니아 남자들에게 강간을 당한 북부 이탈리아 16살 소녀의 사건에 의해 일어난 시위의 날을 재연한다. 이 사건을 재연 하는 과정에서, 나는 이 시위가 어떻게 집단학살로 변했는지 가장 궁금했다. 나의 첫 번째 의문은 어떤 이미지와 목소리가 이 사건을 표현해 낼 수 있는가 였고, 나는 이 사건을 비디오 카메라나 마이크 없이 조사하기로 하였다. 그 후 구두증언을 바탕으로, 그들의 입장에서 사건을 전개하는 두 명의 허구 캐릭터를 만들었다. 조사 과정에서 실제 사건이 일어난 현장의 사진을 찍었고, 그것을 바탕 삼아 3D 방식으로 현장을 재구성해보았다. 사건이 실제로 일어났던 날 만큼이나 재구성된 현장은 무언가 허전하다.

The film reconstructs a day of demonstrations which followed the accusation of a 16-yearold girl in Northern Italy who claimed to have been raped by two Romani man. In recreating these events, I was interested by how these demonstrations degenerated into a pogrom. My first question was: what images or voices could narrate such an event? I chose to research
the case without a video camera or a microphone. Later, based on oral testimonies I wrote two semi-fictional characters who narrate the event from their point of view. During my research, I photographed the original sites where the events took place and based on these photographs the site was reconstructed in 3D. This virtual reconstruction appears at once incomplete and coincidental, as does the memory of the event

로니 트로커는 이탈리아 볼차노에서 태어났으며 부에노스아이레스영화대학에서 영화를 공부했다. 현재 그는 벨기에의 브뤼셀과 프랑스의 릴을 오가며 활동 중이다. 2007년부터 단편 작업을 시작했으며 <Amor Precario>(2007), <MTR-Aus der Fabrik, auf die Strasse>(2008), <Granzland - Terra di confine>(2012), <Eiszeit >(2012) 등의 작품이 있다.

Ronny Trocker was born in Bolzano (Italy) He studied cinema at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires (Argentina and at Le Fresnoy - Studio national des artscontemporains in Tourcoing (France). Currently he is living and working in Brussels and Lille.
