2004년 <나와 인형놀이>로 데뷔한 이후 <얼굴없는 것들>, <청계천의 개>, <줄탁동시>, <이것이 우리의 끝이다> 등의 독립영화를 연출 및 제작했다. 이 작품들은 베니스영화제를 비롯한 유수의 영화에서 상영되었고, 한국, 대만, 프랑스, 스위스 등에서 그의 전작전이 개최되었다.

After making his debut with the short film ‘Me and Doll-playing’ in 2004, KyungMook Kim made independent films including ‘Faceless Things,’ ‘A Cheonggyecheon Dog,’ ‘Stateless Things,’ and ‘Futureless Things.’ His films have been screened at renowned film festivals including Venice Film Festival and his retrospectives have been held in South Korea, Taiwan, France, and Switzerland.
