DESCRIPTION

As so often, also here it's rather about allusion than description. This also applies to the persons represented. Flat silhouettes of people. Their heads depicted in profile. A demonstration of the function of the central perspective. An idealized representation of a tropical paradise. Strangely, there's no absurdity in this.

Kolja KUNT
Kolja Kunt was born in Jena 1972. She lives and works in Berlin. She has been realizing short films, media installations and photo events. Recently she has been working on her first feature length film, an essayistic documentary in Guinea-Bissau/West Africa. Bernd LÜTZELER Bernd Lützeler has been living and working between Berlin and Bombay, making experimental films, installations and theatre. He also curated NoMasala - traveling Indian short films, a short film package, which he screened throughout Germany for some time. Recently he started working on his new experimental film Camera Threat. |
