DESCRIPTION

'다이코터미'는 장소에 대한 기억과 시선에 대한 이분법을 의미한다. 영화는 기억 저편에 있는 특정한 도시에 대해 만들어지는 매체 특정적 노이즈(medium-specific noise)와 파편을 나타내고 있다. 같은 장소이지만 다른 시선 그리고 파편화된 분자들은 시공간의 순서와 지표를 불연속적 재구성 한다. 두 가지 시선의 다른 방향과 시공간은 서로가 서로에 대한 모방이며 16mm 필름 매체의 특징에서 방생 되는 노이즈(noise)는 시공간 속에 파편화된 기억의 분자들을 표현한다.

‘A dichotomy’ is an experimental film about memories on time/space of a place to reinterpret dichotomic visions. Through the hand processed films, the film expresses a painterly visual to complete non-organic space into organic space extinctive sense of time.

 

권수진

권수진은 미국 파슨대학교에서 커뮤니케이션 디자인 전공을 하고 뉴욕 뉴스쿨대학원에서 미디어이론 석사과정을 졸업했다. 현재 실험영화 제작과 연구에 전념하고 있다.

Soojin Kwon is a graduate of Parsons School of Design, (BFA) in Communication Design and The New School University for Social Research, Media Theory (MA). She is currently working with experimental filmmaking to pursue her currier as a fine art filmmaker and photographer.
