DESCRIPTION

노루와 촬영자가 마주친 순간, 노루는 뒤로 물러났다가 다시 촬영자를 응시한다. 관계의 적정거리를 담은 컷으로 시작하는 영상은 이후 피사체이자 스크린인 창문과 촬영자 간의 거리를 담아내고, 영상 내 피사체들 간의 거리, 그리고 다시 관찰자와 실제 스크린과의 거리를 환기함으로써 영상을 바라보는 방법 또는 관계의 적정거리를 질문하고 있다.

When the deers found the photographer, they walk back and gaze back at the photographer. This moment captures the moderate distance of the relationship. After that scene, the film moves to the bus window which can be interpreted as a subject for the photographer and also as a screen for the viewer. On the second section, the movement of people shows the distance between them. On the 3rd section, the film ask us about the distance between the real screen and the observers. Through all these processes, we get to the question, “what is the moderate distance in a relationship and the way of seeing images?”
