에릭 오 

에릭오는 캘리포니아 기반으로 활동하는 한국의 애니메이션 감독이다. 그의 독립작품들은 Student Academy Awards, Annie Awards, Annecy Animation Festival, Hiroshima Animation Festival, Zagreb Film Festival, SIGGRAPH, Anima Mundi와 같은 세계적인 영화제들에서 소개되었다. 서울대학교 순수예술학과를 졸업하고 UCLA 필름 프로그램 석사학위를 받은 그는 2010년부터 2016년까지 Pixar Animation Studios에서 일하면서 애니메이터로써 '몬스터 대학교', '인사이드 아웃', '도리를 찾아서' 등 작품들에 참여하였다. 그는 최근 Tonko House에서 자신의 아카데미상 노미네이트 단편작이기도 한 'The Dam Keeper'를 TV시리즈화한 'PIG : The Dam Keeper Poems' 10부작을 발표하였고, 세계적인 플랫폼 HULU와 일본 NHK를 통해서 방영되었다. 이 작품을 통해 Annie Awards 2018의 Best Special Animation부문에 노미네이트되었으며, Annecy 2018에서 한국 최초로 TV 프로덕션 부문 최고상 ‘크리스탈’을 수상했다.

 Erik OH

Erick OH is a Korean filmmaker / animator based in California, USA.  His independent films have been introduced and awarded at numerous international film festivals including Student Academy Awards, Annie Awards, Annecy Animation Festival, Hiroshima Animation Festival, Zagreb Film Festival, SIGGRAPH, Anima Mundi and more.  After receiving his BFA from Fine Art Department at Seoul National University and his MFA from UCLA’s film program, Erick worked at Pixar Animation Studios from 2010 to 2016 as an animator to participate in Oscar winning films like 'Inside Out' and 'Finding Dory'.  Erick recently joined Tonko House, founded by Dice Tsutsumi and Robert Kondo, also former Pixar artists and directed 'PIG : The Dam Keeper Poems' which was nominated at Annie Awards 2018 for the Best Special Animation.
