카를라 안드라데 

카를라 안드라데는 음향영상과 철학을 전공한 스페인의 비쥬얼 아티스트이다. 그녀의 작품은 시각적 표현의 수단과 반영 사이에 정확히 위치한다. 그녀는 사진과 영상, 영화, 사운드, 설치미술을 통해 심미적 경험과 의식이 변화하는 상태를 보여주고자 그녀 자신만의 언어로 현실을 표현한다. 정형화된 구조와 양식의 독재에 저항하기 위하여, 그녀는 이유를 들어 설명할 필요가 없는 직접 경험의 상태, 즉 가장 원시적이고 무의식의 상태로 돌아가려는 방법으로 ‘삭제’와 ‘부정’을 사용한다.

Carla Andrade is a Visual Artist from Spain with a Degree in Audio-visual Studies and Philosophy. This intersection between the means of visual expression and a field close to reflection is precisely one of the defining facets of her work. Through Photography, Video, Film, Sound and Installation, she exposes her own language-reality with the aim of generating content and thought by the aesthetic experience and altered states of consciousness. She uses the “elimination” and the “denial” as a method to return to the most primitive and unconscious; a direct experience without the necessity of illuminating with the reason, in order to situate herself in a kind of resistance to the dictatorship of the structures and patterns that are pre-established.
