DESCRIPTION
1995년 Hi-8 비디오와 2012년 HD/SD 카메라로 촬영한 이미지들은 “국가”를 형성하는 데 필요한 두 요소–대지와 물–사이의 대화를 공간적으로 풀어낸다. 시각 테크놀로지와 베트남의 정치 상황의 역사를 동시에 전달하면서, 이 이미지들은 또한 급격한 세계화 속에서 옛것과 새것의 만남을 보여준다.
Images taken with a Hi-8 video in 1995 and with a HD / SD camera in2012 spatially promote conversation between the two elements necessary to form a "state" - the conversation between land and water. Conveying both visual technology and the history of Vietnam's political situation, these images also show the encounter between old and new in rapid globalization.

트린 T.민하 트린 T.민하는 영화 감독, 작가, 작곡가이자 UC 버클리 대학교의 여성학과 수사학 교수이다. 8편의 장편 영화는 세계 수많은 회고전에서 상영되었으며 몇몇 협업 설치 미 술이 세계적으로 선보여졌다. 그녀는 2006년 프랑스 깐느 영화제; 2014년 Wild Dreamer Lifetime Achievement Award; Trailblazers Award 등에서 수상한 경력이 있다.

Trinh T. MINH-HA Trinh T. Minh-ha is a filmmaker, writer, composer, and professor of Gender & Women's Studies and Rhetoric at the University of California, Berkeley. 8 feature films were screened at numerous retrospectives around the world, and several collaborative installations wereexhibited worldwide. She won the prizes atthe 2006 Cannes Film Festival in France; 2014 Wild Dreamer Lifetime Achievement Award; and at the Trailblazers Award. |
