Christophe, in his thirties, black, passes a job interview in the company where his girlfriend, Emma, works. The same night, conviced he got the job, the couple celebrates the event. 마크 구롱 .마크 구룽은 1984년에 프랑스 구비유의 작은 도시에서 태어난 네팔계로, 매우 일찍부터 영화에 열정적이었다. 청소년기에는 그가 살던 도시의 문화적 사건에 대한 영화를 연출했고, 첫 각본들을 썼다. 수십 편의 뮤직비디오와 광고를 편집하고 연출한 뒤에는 집필과 영화제작에 몰두했다. 가족, 이민, 통합 등이 그의 경험에 기반을 둔 작품에서 다뤄지는 주제들이다. 그는 특히 존 카사베티스, 김기덕, 모리스 피알라, 다르덴 형제, 켄 로치의 영화가 보여주는 자연주의적인 무대 연출, 상황의 순수성, 보디랭귀지, 그리고 사회를 향한 시선에 영감을 받았다.

Marc GURUNG Born in 1984 in the small city of Gouvieux (France) and of Nepali origin, Marc Gurung is passionate very early about cinema. In his adolescence, he directs movies about cultural events in the city and writes his first scipts. Having edited and directed dozens of music videos and commercials, he gets into writing and filmmaking. Family, immigration and integration are the themes tackled in his work, based on his experience. He his particularly inspired by John Cassavetes’s cinema, Kim Ki-Duk’s, Maurice Pialat’’s, the Dardenne brothers’s and Ken Loach’s, for their naturalistic staging, the purity of situations, the body language and their views on society. |
