아사르 사이와르 

아사르 사이와르는 헬싱키 출신의 영화제작자이자 미디어 아티스트이다. 그녀의 최근 작품은 이민과 기억에 관한 영화 연구인 <Helsinki-Tehran> (2009)와 텔레비전 광고를 소재로 한 콜라주인 <Primus tempus> (2014)와  <History Bleeds Under Your Fingernails>(2016)가 있다. 그녀는 정체성의 경계 - 문화, 일상 생활, 타인의 흔적- 에 관심이 있다. 그녀는 주로 아카이브 자료를 사용하며 다른 방법으로의 경험하기, 말하기 그리고 기억하기를 고안하기 위하여 이미지들과 기억 속 축적된 언어들을 이용한다.

 Azar SAIYAR 

She is a Helsinki-based filmmaker and media artist. Her recent works are Helsinki-Tehran (2009) – a cinematic study on immigration and memory, Primus tempus (2014) – a filmic collage that uses television adverts as its material and History Bleeds Under Your Fingernails (2016). Currently she is  working with project of multiple short films, texts and images called Politics of being - a visual journal of a no use woman. She is interested in the borders of identity – the traces of other people, our cultures and daily routines in us. She often use archive materials and play with these images and words of collective memory to look towards other ways of experiencing, speaking and remembering.
