DESCRIPTION
밤새 술을 마시고 거나하게 취해 집에 들어온 한 여자가 보인다. 현관 문 앞에서 침실까지 가는 여자의 움직임은 굼뜨기만 하다. 비디오는 한 독립적인 어른의 코믹하지만 굴욕적인 모습을 보여준다. 피곤함과 과도한 알코올 섭취의 결과로 자신의 집에서 필사적인 상황에 처한 여자의 모습이 일상적인 사건을 통해 노출된다.
Sunday Mornings is a video about a woman coming home after a heavy-drinking night out. The scene describes the woman’s slow-moving journey from the front door of her flat to the bedroom. The video shows an independent person that finds herself in a comical but humiliating state. As a result of tiredness and a heavy consumption of alcohol, the woman is, through a banal incident, exposed for a mortal situation in her home.

야니케 로케르 야니케 로케르(1968)는 베를린과 오슬로를 오가며 작업한다. 1993년부터 1998년까지 트론헤임 순수예술 아카데미에서 공부했다. 그녀의 작품들은 뉴욕의 휘트니 미술관, 스톡홀름의 근대 미술관, 오슬로의 현대 미술관을 포함한 여러 국제적인 전시회와 영화제에서 선보여졌다. 2008 노르웨이 단편 영화제의 테제 비겐 상과 영화 평론가 상을 수상했다.

Jannicke LÅKER Jannicke Låker (1968) lives and works in Berlin and Oslo. She studied at Trondheim Academy of Fine Art (1993-98). Låker’s works have been presented at various international exhibitions and festivals including Whitney Museum (New York), Modern Museum(Stockholm), and Museum of Contemporary Art (Oslo). She received the Terje Vigen Award and the Film Critics Award at the Norwegian Short Film Festival 2008. |
