DESCRIPTION
<황무지>는 영화가 우리의 판타지와 상상에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지, 사람들이 허구의 이미지들을 자신의 일상에 어떻게 결합시키는지에 대해 탐구한다. 또 우리의 이해/신념들이 우리가 주변을 이해하고 해석하는 데 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴본다.
Wasteland investigates how our fantasy and imagination is affected by film, and how people in everyday life integrate images from fiction into their own lives. The film attempts to understand how preconceived conceptions influences the way we see and interpret our surroundings.

카야 례욘 1980년에 노르웨이 트롬쇠에서 태어난 카야 레욘은 오슬로에서 거주하며 활동 중이다. 오슬로 순수 예술 아카데미와 캘리포니아 인스티튜트 오브 디 아츠에서 공부했다. 그녀의 작품은 MELK(오슬로), SPACE 4235(제노바), KONTORprojects(코펜하겐), 쿤스트할레(마인츠), 팔레 드 도쿄(파리), 세계 문화의 집(베를린), 국립타이완미술관 등 다양한 장소에 국제적으로 소개되었다.

Kaja LEIJON Kaja Leijon (Tromsø, 1980) lives and works in Oslo. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Oslo and CalArts in California. Her work has been shown at various international venues including MELK (Oslo), SPACE 4235 (Genova), KONTORprojects(Copenhagen), Kunsthalle (Mainz, Germany), Palais de Tokyo (Paris), Haus der Kulturen der Welt (Berlin), and Taiwan National Museum of Fine Arts. |
