DESCRIPTION

수많은 사람들이 세월호의 침몰을 방송을 통해 실시간으로 본 만큼 많은 이에게 강한 트라우마가 되었다. 이번만큼은 비극을 그저 애도하며 흘려보낼 수 없다고 생각했다. 비극은 반복된다. 우리가 비극을 망각하는 순간.

The sinking of Sewol Ferry became serious trauma for people in Korea because we watched the sinking in real time through broadcasting.Tragedy will repeat when we forget the previous tragedies.

 

 김성영 

2018년 현재 캘리포니아를 기반으로 활동하고 있는 단편 감독이자 레이아웃 아티스트입니다. 2012년도 이후로 픽사 애니메이션 스튜디오에서 인크레더블 2, 코코, 굿 다이노, 도리를 찾아서, 몬스터 대학교 등에 레이아웃 아티스트로 참여해왔고, 개인 단편작품들은 토론토 국제 영화제, 시그라프, 히로시마 국제 애니메이션 영화제 등에서 상영/수상되었습니다.

 Shuan Seongyoung KIM

Shaun Seong-young Kim is a director and professional layout artist currently working at Pixar Animation Studios. His previous films were awarded and screened at Hiroshima International Festival, Siggraph, Toronto International Festival and so on. Also, he has worked on Pixar movies including Monsters Univ., Finding Dory, The Good Dinosaur, CoCo and Incredibles 2 as a layout artist since 2012.
