DESCRIPTION

천국과 가장 가까운 곳인 세르비아 우지체 (Uzice)의 산꼭대기. 그곳에 있는 먼 요양원 '자부제'에서의 일상생활에 대한 시적이고 형이상학적인 관점을 담은 작품이다. 자부제는 "고객" 이라고 불리는 노인들의 지구상의 마지막 역이다. 황량한 양로원과 늙어 죽어가는 육체에 갇혀 생의 종말을 기다리는 동안 그들은 젊음과 생기를 느낄 수 있는 유일한 장소인 영혼의 자유를 위해 싸우고 있다. 빛과 어둠, 고통과 수용, 삶과 죽음 사이의 싸움이다.

A poetic and metaphysical view on a daily life routine in a distant nursing home, Zabucje, on a top of the mountain in Uzice, Serbia – the closest place to heaven. This is the last station on earth for old people that called “clients”. While they’re waiting for the end of their lives, prisoned in a desolate nursing home and their old-dying body, they are fighting for the freedom of their soul, the only place they can feel young and alive. A fight between light and darkness, suffering and acceptance, life and death.
