DESCRIPTION

다양한 언어권, 문화권에서 전해 내려오는 전 세계 속담과 격언 가운데, 약자(여성, 노인, 어린이, 장애인등)에 관한 문장을 수집한다. 수집된 문장들이 한국어로 번역되어 본래의 문화권에서 벗어나 이곳으로 왔음에도 불구하고, 시대를 관통하는 약자에 대한 시선은 어떠한 공통점을 가지고 있다.

Of the world's proverbs and maxims handed down from various languages and cultures, we collect sentences about the weak (women, the elderly, children, the disabled, etc.). Although the collected sentences were translated into Korean and came here from the original culture, the eyes of the weak penetrating the times have something in common.

전지인

전지인은 계원예술대학교 매체예술학과 한국예술종합학교 미술원 조형예술과 전문사 과정을 졸업했다. 물리적 또는 추상적인 공간을 근간으로 그 곳에 내재한 문화적 쟁점들에 파고든다. 현재의 일상 속에서 마주치는 문화적 관습과 위계질서가 갖는 특성을 펼쳐보고 사고의 깊이를 확장해가는 과정을 시각화하여 보여준다. 미술의 언어, 영상, 텍스트, 설치를 매체로 작업하고 있다

JUEN Jiin

JUEN Jiin graduated from the department of Media Art at Kaywon University of Arts & Design and received an MFA from the Korea National University of Arts in Sculpture Arts. dig into the cultural issues inherent in the physical or abstract space Visualizing the process of expanding the depth of thought reveals the cultural customs and hierarchical characteristics encountered in today's daily lives. The language, images, text, and installation of art are being worked as media.
