요동은 시간을 보여준다. 끊임없이 흐르는 감정은 다른 이들은 알 수 없는 나만 아는 시간. 감정이 시간의 단위인 세상에서는 감정을 기준으로 움직인다. 첫번째 챕터- 그는 피자를 먹고 싶었던 그때로 타임머신이 아닌 감정머신을 통해 돌아가려 한다. 두번째 챕터- 약속 시간이 정해져 있지만, 감정의 시간은 다르게 흘러가기에 그들은 만나지 못한다.
