DESCRIPTION

존 포드(John Ford)의 영화 모감보(Mogambo, 1953)에서 주인공 린다는 그 누구에게서도 자유롭지 못하다. ‘달링’을 외치며 부인의 사진을 찍는 세 번의 남편을 통해 영화 속 린다의 상황을 표현해 보고자 했다.

In John Ford's film Mogambo (1953), Linda is not free from anyone. I tried to express the situation of ‘Linda’ in the movie through the husband who shouts ‘darling’ and takes pictures of his wife three times.

    우주인은 영화 푸티지를 이용하여 재구성하는 오디오비주얼 에세이 작업을 한다. 대표작으로는 <노리코 세츠코 2>(2023), <밤낮>(2018) 등이 있으며 서울국제대안영상예술페스티벌, 서울국제여성영화제, DMZ국제다큐멘터리영화제 등에 초청, 상영되었다.

    WOO Juin works on the audiovisual essay that reconstructs the film footage. <Noriko Setsuko 2>(2023), <Night and Day>(2018) and some other shorts have been shown at the Seoul International ALT Cinema & Media Festival, the Seoul International Women's Film Festival, DMZ International Documentary Film Festival, etc.
