DESCRIPTION

중력과 무중력, 공기와 물 사이에 존재하는 시간과 공간을 흔들림과 왜곡으로 표현한 실험 영상 작품. 요즘 레저 다이버들이 바다 환경을 보호하기 위해 해저에 가라앉은 쓰레기를 줍는 정화활동을 자원봉사로 하고 있다. 최근 나는 바다 속에서 촬영한 영상으로 영상 작품을 만들고 있다. 그 때 발생하는 영상과 음성 데이터의 버그나 쓰레기통에 버려질 것 같은 영상을 재활용해 이 작품을 만들었다. 노파인더, 고정 없음, 텍스트 없음, 색조 보정 없음, 효과음 없음, 뱃멀미, 물의 렌즈, 그리고 쓰레기.... 부력으로 하늘로 빨려 올라간다.

This experimental video work expresses time and space between gravity and weightlessness, air and water, through shimmering and distortion. Recently, recreational divers have been volunteering to clean up trash on the ocean floor in order to protect the marine environment. I have been creating video works from footage I have shot under the sea.
I made this work by recycling the video and audio data bugs that occurred during the process and the footage that would otherwise have been thrown in the trash. No Finder, No Fixed, No Text, No Color Correction, No Sound Effect, may get seasick, Water as a lens, and Waste... Buoyancy sucks you into the sky.

    싱글 채널, 블루백에 의한 키잉을 이용한 영상 설치, AR 사진/영상 작품, 아트 퍼포먼스와 파란색을 테마로 한 설치 작품을 제작한다. '슈퍼 리니어'라는 개념을 바탕으로 제작한 영상×연극×댄스의 아트 퍼포먼스를 상영하고 있다.
    오카야마 예술교류 2022 퍼블릭 프로그램 및 퍼포먼스(2022), 교토예술대학 'Japan Undersea Art Museum 프로젝트'(2022), 독일문화회관 '퇴행과 진화' 댄스공연 연출(2022), 싱가포르 아트위크 2021 공연, 내셔널 갤러리 싱가포르 'Negentrophe' 공연. 갤러리 싱가포르 'Negentropic Fields'(2020) 큐레이션, 광동시대미술관, 미니키노 영화주간, 태국단편영화제, 탐페레영화제, 서울국제실험영화제 등에서 상영, 이미지포럼 페스티벌 우수상, 서울국제뉴미디어아트페스티벌 우수상 수상. 뉴미디어 페스티벌에서 미디어 아티스트상 등 국내외에서 다수의 개인전 및 그룹전 개최. 또한, 인터디시프리너리 아트 관련 행사를 직접 디렉팅하고 큐레이팅하는 등 다양한 활동을 하고 있다. 바다 속 미술관 초대 관장, Interdisciplinary Art Festival Tokyo (2014~), Art in Country of Tokyo (2019~), Interdisciplinary Art Project Kobe (2019~)의 대표를 맡고 있다. 제20회 서울국제실험영화제(2023), 비디오폼즈 2024 제39회 국제 하이브리드 및 디지털 아트 페스티벌 경쟁 부문 심사위원으로 선정되었다.

    Sung Nam HAN creates single channel videos, installations using blue background keying, AR photo /video works, art performances, and installations based on the theme of blue. She has staged a video x theater x dance art performance based on the concept of "Super Linear."
    She has been invited to OKAYAMA ART SUMMIT 2022 public program and performance (2022), Kyoto University of Arts "Japan Undersea Art Museum Project" (2022), German Cultural Institute "Evolution and Regression" dance performance direction (2022), performance at Singapore Art Week 2021, National Curated "Negentropic Fields" (2020) at the National Gallery Singapore, screened at the Guangdong Museum of Contemporary Art, Minikino Film Week, Thai Short Film Festival, Tampere Film Festival, Seoul International Experimental Film Festival, etc., She won the Excellence Award at Image Forum Festival, the Media Artist Award at Seoul International New Media Festival. She has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Japan and abroad. She also directs and curates her own events related to interdisciplinary Art. First director of Japan Undersea Art Museum (JUAM), she is the representative of Interdisciplinary Art Festival Tokyo (2014-), Art in Country of Tokyo (2019-), and Interdisciplinary Art Project Kobe (2019-). the 20th EXPERIMENTAL FILM & VIDEO FESTIVAL IN SEOUL (2023), and VIDEOFORMES 2024 39th International Hybrid and Digital Arts Festival Competition Jury.
