  로이스 파티뇨Lois Patiño

  로이스 파티뇨(스페인, 비고 1983)는 마드리드 콤플루텐세 대학에서 심리학과 TAI 학교에서 영화 연구를 병행했다. 뉴욕 필름 아카데미와 바르셀로나의 폼페우 파브라 대학교(다큐멘터리 제작 석사)에서 영화 공부를 계속했다. 그는 UdK 베를린에서 비디오 제작 과정에 참석했으며 Joan Jonas, James Benning, Pedro Costa, Víctor Erice, José Luis Guerín 또는 Daniel Canogar와 같은 예술가 및 영화 제작자와 함께 다양한 워크샵에 참석했다.
  그의 단편영화 <그림자의 산>은 오버하우젠 국제 단편영화제(독일), 클레르몽페랑 국제단편영화제(프랑스), 부카레스트 국제실험영화제 등에서 상을 받았다. 로카르노 국제 영화제에서 <죽음의 해안>으로 최우수 신인 감독상을 수상했다. 이 장편 영화는 전주 국제 영화제와 같은 영화제에서 많은 상을 수상했다.

  Lois Patiño (Vigo, Spain, 1983) combined his studies in Psychology at the Complutense University of Madrid with cinema studies at the TAI School. He continued his cinema education at the New York Film Academy and the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona (Master in Creative Documentary). He attended courses in video creation at UdK Berlin and different workshops with artists and filmmakers such as Joan Jonas, James Benning, Pedro Costa, Víctor Erice, José Luis Guerín or Daniel Canogar.
  His short film Mountain in Shadow won different awards at the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival (Germany), the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (France), the Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival and others. At the Locarno International Film Festival he received the Prize for the Best Emerging Director for Costa da Morte. This feature film also obtained several awards at festivals such as the Jeonju International Film Festival.
