This documentary recounts the unprecedented stories of persecution and violence with which the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship acted against the LGBT population and how this same group constituted its resistance, transforming itself into fundamental subjects of the redemocratization process. The coup of 64 did not introduce this prejudice, but, during that period, the LGBT population was considered an enemy of the traditional family, morality and good behavior.

Brazilian documentary filmmaker active since 2004, his work focuses on political processes and social movements, recording popular struggles and dissident thoughts. His works participated in Brazilian and international festivals and exhibitions, receiving more than 20 awards, including It's not the first time we fought for our love (2022); Genocide and Mouvements (2021); Invisible Men (2019); and Bombadeira (2007).
